Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Certified Medical Coder. The Certified Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records, ensuring coding compliance, and staying up to date with coding guidelines and regulations. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures, correcting coding errors, and participating in coding audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Coding and Coding Compliance
- Knowledge of Health Information Management and Medical Terminology
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience with electronic health records systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, HIM, or related field preferred
