What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist - Full Time position at Memorial Hospital - Chester, IL?
Memorial Hospital is a 5-Star Patient Rated Hospital that is currently looking to expand employment for a Phlebotomist. This staff person will work 32 hours a week with rotating weekends in the hospital and the clinic. The Phlebotomist position comes with retirement, paid time off and insurance benefits.
Position is 100% on-site position and primarily consist of phlebotomy coverage in the outpatient lab along with assisting with in-patient and ER draws and clerical duties including verification of physicians, reference lab reports, pathology reports and drug screen files.
Requires: High School graduate or equivalent and Phlebotomy Certificate preferred. Must be able to communicate well, good hearing for phone duties, computer/typing skills, capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to move about through the day for patient care and vaccinations per CDC, IDPH and Medicare.
