About The Opportunity
This visible position is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot and repair production equipment and performing preventive maintenance following Menasha Packaging standards for quality and safety.- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Repair and troubleshoot production equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Assist in the set-up and tear down of production lines
- Promote a safe work environment
- Inside and outside building maintenance
- Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
- Responsible for following and complying with Company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintaining quality work and product
Education & Experience
- High School Degree or Equivalent and/or three or more years of experience in Maintenance
- Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics knowledge required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Effective interpersonal skills, including listening
- Attributes desired include being self-motivated, assertive, self-starter, problem-solver and results driven
Machines, Tools, Instruments, Equipment and Materials Used:
- PLC and Drive Controllers
- Equipment skills desired: knowledge of shrink wrap equipment, balers, heat tunnels, printers, glue machines, conveyors, carton sealer, stretch wrappers
