We are looking for a dynamic, product marketing manager and all around awesome person to take the lead on driving go to market activities for Menlo Security solutions. This isn’t your regular type of company or a regular type of role, this is for someone who is highly collaborative and thrives in being the connective tissue between sales, marketing, channel and product management teams - and that’s no easy task in a company that’s in hyper growth mode! This means that you’ll have to think on your feet, take the initiative to get things done and bring a great attitude while you’re doing it!.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical cybersecurity background combined with the ability to convert technical concepts into understandable value propositions. You should be able to have technical conversations with development teams as well as business conversations with CISOs.

Responsibilities

  • Messaging and Content Development: Tell the Menlo Security story, but not like every other story. No one wants to be the same as everyone else. Stand out from the crowd in an engaging and compelling way through the creation of collateral such as web content, blog posts, data sheets and presentations.
  • Product Launch activities: We launch amazing products to stop threats in their tracks! It’s your job to define and execute the launch strategy including all go to market aspects. We’ve got to get the word out so everyone knows and that includes our sales teams, channel partners and prospects.
  • Competitive and Industry Subject Matter Expert: When it comes to security, everyone loves a know-it-all. You’ll have to help sales know what they need to know to win! Create competitive materials that clearly show our differentiation and maybe shout it from the rooftops too, just make sure you don’t annoy the neighbors.
  • Sales enablement: You’re amazing, let’s see if we can make everyone else as amazing as you. Bring new sales teams up to speed on the Menlo Security story, opportunity and how to take advantage of it - and all in that way you have which is engaging and memorable. Everyone loves hearing what you have to say.
  • Represent Menlo Security at trade shows and events, both virtual and in-person: You’re the person at the front of a huge room of eager attendees to hear your story, you’re the person in the booth to answer the questions, you’re the person who’s wearing sweatpants because your on a Zoom presentation to prospects...and that’s ok! 

Requirements

  • You’ve been around the block once or twice and learned  a lot! 8 years in product marketing, product management and/or sales would be great. If you have previous experience in a hyper-growth environment that’s a strong plus, bring your energy
  • We’re growing fast and have a wide product portfolio. Experience in owning multiple product lines across various security segments such as web, email and data security will make sure that you’re on the right track to knock it out of the park!. Experience in emerging areas such as zero trust and SASE is a bonus, it’s like the whipped cream on top of the mocha
  • You’re not the boring monotonic professor. In fact you’re the opposite! We need a strong engaging public speaker who’s comfortable in front of large and small audiences including business and technical people. And, of course we need to do this in both virtual and in-person environments. 
  • Hey storyteller extraordinaire, we need you to identify key use cases and create customer stories that show the value that Menlo Security brings to organizations around the world
  • Last, but certainly not least, you have a “can do” attitude and have a willingness to step in and take the lead on priority projects when needed
