What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Mennonite Friendship Communities?
$1,000 Sign On Bonus!!!
Part time positions (6a-2p) or part time (4p-8p). every other weekend required.
- Sets up tables for meals, including tablecloths, napkins, silverware, condiments, etc.
- Serves meals to the residents.
- Understands basic nutrition, modified diets and menus used in this facility.
- Serves and refills beverages and responds to additional resident needs or requests.
- Meets all residents’ special requests, changes to their meal, etc.
- Notifies Cook regarding special food requests.
Cleaning
- Cleans all dining rooms in Health Care, including cleaning tables, sweeping floor, etc. after meals.
- Is responsible for deep cleaning kitchen as scheduled and within federal and state regulations.
- Is familiar and abides with the policies and procedures of the Food Service Department.
- Uses acceptable personal habits in areas of sanitation and safety.
- Practices safe handling of food items regarding infection control.
- Uses equipment safely and following facility procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
