What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bath aide position at Mennonite Village?
Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community. For 75 years our mission has been to be a Christ-centered community providing life-enriching services.
As such, we commit to uphold stewardship, service, and self-determination. We are looking for compassionate and patient Bath Aides to assist residents with bathing and personal hygiene.
Pay $16.00 - $20.01 depending on experience - shift differential of an additional $1 for hours worked between 10PM & 6AM and an additional $1 for weekends.
Sign on bonuses up to $500. Shift will be Full time Thursday-Monday 7AM-3 : 30PM
Physical requirements include :
- Capable of lifting 10-50 lbs. often, with occasional lifting of residents weighing over 100 lbs.
- Safely move frequently during workday, including carrying, lifting, standing, sitting, bending reaching, and kneeling.
- Push and / or pull wheelchairs and other equipment.
- Visual and auditory acuity within normal limits.
- Work in a humid environment for prolonged periods of time.
