About the Role:
We are a group of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Psychotherapists looking to further expand a successful private practice. We are seeking a licensed
therapist or psychologist to join the practice and provide individual, couples, and/or
family therapy to patients already receiving psychiatric care (medication management) or people requesting to be a new person we treat for their mental health.
Depending on the caseload of the other psychotherapists that may be an immediate caseload available for credentialed providers. This is an excellent
opportunity for someone looking to supplement their current work or grow into a full-
time private practice role.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide outpatient therapy to individuals, couples, or families
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, etc.)
- Collaborate with prescribers, medical providers, and other support professionals
- Document sessions and clinical notes in accordance with insurance timelines (within
24 hours)
- Maintain professional ethics, licensure, and continuing education
Who You Are:
- Licensed in Massachusetts as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psy.D., or PhD
- Experienced in outpatient mental health treatment (insurance-based care preferred)
- Proficient in DSM-V diagnostic criteria and clinical documentation
- Skilled in at least one evidence-based therapy modality
- Strong communicator with a collaborative, compassionate approach
For LCSW/LMHC Candidates:
- LCSWs must have 3,500 post-master’s hours 100 hours of supervision with a
LICSW
- LMHCs must meet Massachusetts supervision and client contact hour requirements
