Description
Receive, store, transfer and dispense petroleum products in accordance with established procedures. Tests and inspects jet fuel to assure quality and reliability of product.
Position Description
- Complies with the location’s attendance standards.
- Selects and tests fuel products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and/or chemical characteristics.
- Records test data, following statistical quality control procedures.
- Conducts work in a safe and environmentally conscious fashion by adhering to all company, industry, local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
- Procure daily, weekly and monthly petroleum product inventories as required. Prepare and process required documentation related to work performed.
- Complies with A4A specifications on fuel quality.
- Required to pump fuel pits and provide auto gas functions as necessary.
- Where lifting is required, the employee must be able to do the essential functions of the job.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must pass color vision and drug tests to be considered for employment.
- Ability to work a flexible shift including nights and weekends.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
- Valid driver’s license/Pass airport driver’s test
