What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Shift Supervisor position at Merakey?
We are currently seeking a Shift Supervisor to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services (IDD) division in Hummelstown, PA.
Position Overview:
This position coordinates the day-to-day activities of assigned program. This role directs the work of staff to ensure program and quality standards are met.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Ability to delegate and train personnel
* Ability to maintain poise and professionalism
* Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications
* Proven strong use of technology and the ability to learn new technology quickly and encourage others to do to so.

The ideal candidate requirements are:
* 3 years experience working with individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities
* Supervisory experience preferred
* College degree preferred
* Current and valid Pennsylvania driver's license
