What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extra-Help Student Intern position at Merced County?
The Extra Help Student Intern will provide general assistance while gaining valuable work experience. Assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.
Hours for this position will be flexible including evenings and weekends to attend community events.
The current openings are at the Human Services Agency for the Children's Services Department.
This recruitment will fill vacancies in our Child Abuse Treatment (CHAT) Programs. The current positions will require experience working with foster youth, clerical experience, scheduling, telephone skills, copying, filing, document scanning and transporting youth.
Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge and/or experience with/of child welfare services or working with children.
- Experience facility training groups or delivering presentations.
