We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, strategic thinker with management experience. This role will be responsible for managing the quotations process within the territory, leading a quotations team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of quotes to clients, and supporting the MZ sales team with all aspects of the quotation lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have quoting/estimating experience in the lighting industry, exceptional communications skills, strong leadership and coaching skills, and a passion for collaboration.
What you will be doing...
- Quotation Management
- Prepare and manage detailed quotations for diverse lighting and lighting controls projects, ensuring the package complies with project specifications.
- Work with our trade partners to provide a complete and competitive bid package.
- Team Management
- Lead, manage, and hold quotations team accountable for performance and meeting quarterly and annual objectives.
- Mentor and train team and drive the established quotations process so it is executed consistently.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all quotations and associated communications.
- Prepare regular reports on quotation activity, win/loss ratios, and other key metrics for management review.
Who we are looking for...
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction or lighting industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strategic mindset and naturally collaborative nature.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
