What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. RF Test Technician position at Mercury Systems?
Job Summary:
In this role, you have the opportunity test, tune and troubleshoot RF Assemblies as you work independently in support of our National Defense
You are responsible for:
- Tuning, Testing, Troubleshooting of complex Integrated Microwave Assemblies
- Maintaining schedules through the testing / screening process
- Work with assembly / engineering on design improvements
You are a part of a highly dedicated / high functioning team in a fast paced environment. You will have the ability to learn and train in a flexible work place.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- High School diploma
- 5 years experience testing, tuning and troubleshooting microwave assemblies
- Experience with RF/Microwave is a must have
- Basic electronics training - five plus years of bench experience
- Read schematics / assembly drawings / troubleshooting skills
- Overtime (Saturdays) is sometimes a necessity
Preferred Background:
- Associates degree or certificate in related discipline.
This position requires you to have or have the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
