What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Dentist position at Mercy Dental?
Our dentist will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks such as evaluating patients' dental health and developing treatment plans. The right candidate will also have some bedside manner, as they will regularly interact directly with patients. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry, knowledge of various procedures and techniques, and the ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the clinic on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide dental services and instructions to patients in proper practices of dental hygiene and in procedures pertinent to provided treatments.
- Remove decayed teeth, Place fillings, Perform root canals, Inject tooth pain medication.
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental literature, including the American Dental Association's Code of Ethics.
- Formulate plan of treatment for patient's teeth and mouth tissue.
