Certification Details BLS ACLS PALS NIHSS Job Details A hospital in California is looking for an experienced ER nurse for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience. Job Requirements Hold an active BLS certification. Hold an active ACLS certification. Hold an active PALS certification. Hold an active NIHSS certification. Hold an active California License. Schedule Information Shifts- 12's Days : 7a-730p; 9a-9 : 30p; Mids : 10a-10 : 30p, 11a-11 : 30p, 1p-1 : 30a, 3p-3 : 30a; Nights 7p-7 : 30a. Self-scheduling but not finalized until the manager balances it. Schedules are for 4 weeks. Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. Weekends are Fri / Sat for nights & Sat / Sun for days. Unit Specific Information Floating could happen between the 2 facilities to the ER. Floor specific orientation : 2 shifts at the primary campus & 1 shift at the other campus. Additional Details ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS are required. Charge Nurse : Shift manager & a resource nurse. Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule. Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Typical ER patients.
