Overview: AIX-Linux Manager System Administration
Hybrid Role: (Remote/Onsite) Must live in St. Louis Metro area travel reasons.

AIX – Linux Manager System Administration position is responsible for design, implementation, configuration, and support of the AIX/Linux enterprise Server environment:
Provide 7X24 support for the AIX and Linux server hardware and software infrastructure. Includes approximately 2000 RedHat Linux and 200 AIX servers.
- Responsible for resolving all ServiceNow requests and incident tickets assigned to the “ServerOps – AIX/LNX” assignment group
- Provide hardware, software, and firmware upgrades to IBM Power infrastructure
- Responsible for resolving Server Audit vulnerabilities
- Responsible for providing information for the Care, PCI, Financial, and SOC2 Audits
- Responsible for supporting all AIX/Linux Server build and decommission requests
- Participate in project related work as needed.
- Performance management, perform daily monitoring and primary event recipient
- Maintain System Configuration Documentation for all supported AIX/Linux hardware and software platforms
- Provide contingency/Disaster Recovery execution for EPIC/Lawson applications
- Familiar with VMWARE environment to support REDHAT Linux environment.
Primary Function Manages servers, storage, operating systems and applications to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity and supportability through production support and maintenance of existing systems and development and implementation of systems enhancements All positions in this job family participate, to some degree, in the following activities: - Production Support monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing and providing advanced customer support - Deployment / Implementation planning and executing the implementation of new applications or system integration and testing - Design researching, recommending and designing new technologies, new configurations and enhancements to existing systems; providing consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the network environment
Qualifications:
- Experience: Five (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Required Education: Bachelors degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
- Other: xperience overseeing project teams and/or work processes
