Overview:
This position does require the incumbent to live in the Fort Smith area
The Business Service Leader (BSL) will serve as the primary revenue cycle performance contact for Clinic and/or Facility Operations Leadership as well as physician and/or facility department managers. BSLs have accountability for providing communication with physician office managers, facility department managers, and Virtual Business Office (VBO) operations, as appropriate; to assure effective revenue cycle results for the community they serve.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years related hospital or practice management experience
- Required Education: High School diploma
- Preferred Education: Bachelor degree preferred
- Other: Excellent organizational and analytical skills Interpersonal skills necessary to build positive relationships with practices and departments, revenue leaders , and within Mercy Revenue ManagementAbility to work independently to accomplish job responsibilitiesHigh personal integrity and work ethic Ability to travel within their community regularlyAbility to travel periodically across the Health SystemKnowledge of Epic applications
