Overview:

• Handles patient phone calls, providing triaging, instruction and appropriate follow-up, maintain exam rooms, supplies, equipment and medications.
• Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioner and the leader.

Qualifications for Medical Assistant:

Medical Assistant:

• • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.

Certified Medical Assistant:

• • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

LPN Qualifications:

• • Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
  • Licensure: Active LPN licensure
  • Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
