Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT/Paramedic
8-5pm M-F Full Time, 40hrs!

Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA; EMT or Paramedic certification also accepted). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
LPN Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Practical Nursing
Licensure: Active LPN licensure
Preferred Experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a physician's office.
