Job Summary
This part-time position (8 hours/week) is for a Lab Support Technician (LST I) who will provide laboratory support services, including reports, data, and scheduling functions. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent customer service skills and maintain confidentiality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Acquire laboratory specimens for testing using safe, accurate, and effective methodologies while observing HIPAA confidentiality requirements and lab policies.
- Process, transport, and refer all types of laboratory specimens and reports as required.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Education: College level Chemistry, Biology, or other Science courses.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a clinical laboratory.
