Overview:
This position will function as a dual role, working as a Medical Assistant but cross-training for the front desk as well. Direct patient care basics such as rooming and vitals with the opportunity to be trained on more clinical skills, as well as greeting, checking in, and directing patients at the front desk, verifying insurance, etc.
Primary Care Assistant - Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
Primary Care - Certified Medical Assistant:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Certification: Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA; EMT/Paramedic also accepted). Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
