What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - 4K Medical Infusion Center Full Time Days position at Mercy?
Hours:
Monday through Friday depending upon patient scheduling 0700-1800
Saturday occasional on call nurse for approximately 2 hours 1230 to 1500
Sunday closed
We utilize 8-hour, 10 hour and 12-hour nurses
Saturday on call approximately every 8th weekend.
Medical Specialties infusion nursing, including high risk medication administration for all disease types. Chemotherapy certification is not initially required for employment, but at the one-year mark, certification is required. The department reimburses the cost of the certification once completed. Chemotherapy certification is obtained through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS).
Qualifications:
- Education: RN
- Licensure: Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State working in.
- Certifications: CPR required
