Overview:
Responsible for food service, stewardship of all resources required to accomplish, scheduling, coaching, counseling employees, overseeing sanitation, efficiency, quality of work area, including working stations as needed. Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Two years food service experience.
- Preferred Experience: One year supervisory experience preferred.
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Education: Dietary Manager Certification is preferred.
- Certifications: ServSafe Certification current or within 30 days of employment.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Must be able to reason well and use basic math skills. Positive, proactive attitude. Ability to read and write, problem solve. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods. Special diets knowledge of Nutrition in a Nutshell. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Professional appearance. Basic computer skills. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Must be able to work stations in kitchen dishroom and pot room. Ability to lift 30 pounds and to push and pull 150 pounds. Equipment Used: dish machine, pot machine, all food service equipment, computer, pos system.
