Position Title: RN
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab, Davenport East Campus
Schedule
- 32 hours per week
- NO Call
- Provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
- Key accountabilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice
- Adherence to Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA
- Active participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities
- During procedures, the nurse will function in one of three roles with distinct competencies applied to each role: circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or recorder
- Education: Associate's Degree
- Field Of Study: Nursing
- Special Training: ACLS within 6 months; Basic Life Support.
- Training Preferred: Cardiovascular or critical care experience
- Licensure/Registration: Registered Nurse in Iowa
- Experience: More than 6 months preferred
