Location: Gainesville, FL
Rate of pay: $15.72
This is a professional clinical position where the individual plans, organizes, and directs medically-approved recreation programs for the clients of the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
· ** Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.
Drivers Requirement:
Must have a current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements.
In order to qualify as a Center Driver, the candidate must at least 21 years of age and have an active Florida Driver's license. Motor Vehicle Record will be reviewed for eligibility. No more than 3 moving violations and/or accidents within the past 3 years and no major violations during the past 5 years. Drivers over 65 years old must provide a current doctor's note stating they have no driving limitations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts activity and/or interest assessment as needed for clients.
- Serves as a client and/or Center advocate, consultant and liaison with a wide variety of community agencies.
- Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Treatment Plan based on the clinical needs identified in the treatment team's assessments and daily reviews.
- Participates in the client and family education process.
- Serves as a special event coordinator for the facility.
- Facilitates individual therapy and therapeutic groups and maintains continuity of care.
- Completes supporting documentation for services provided to clients.
- Communicates any changes Director regarding ACCESS and discharge planning functions.
- Maintains documentation in accordance with applicable Center wide, state and federal standards and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives.
