Warehouse Sanitation

Merit Logistics is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our growing team! This position's schedule is 2nd shift: 3 PM - 11 PM. This full-time position is responsible for keeping the warehouse clean by sweeping, floor scrubbing, trash removal, bailing and compacting, and any other miscellaneous duties as assigned. This position utilizes heavy equipment such as floor scrubbers to complete assigned tasks.

Benefits:

• $17.00/ hour

Minimum Qualifications:

• Reliably commute to and from the facility
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Able to lift 5lbs. to 75lbs throughout the shift
• Stand or walk for an extended period
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn

Preferred: Sanitation experience

Responsibilities:

• Deep cleans, sweeps, and/or mops assigned areas, including aisles, compactors, dock areas and levelers, floor racks, etc.
• Operate a floor-scrubbing machine throughout assigned areas
• Dusts posts, barriers, and fire exit stations
• Cardboard breakdown
• Trash removal, compacting, and bailing
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
