The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Production department, with a primary focus on our Avid line, and also ensuring quality, accuracy, and integrity of product assembly and packaging.
Candidates should have 2-4 years of verifiable experience in a leadership role, preferably in manufacturing, assembly line, and/or a warehousing environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, skills, and industry experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must be computer literate and should have basic proficiencies with ERP systems. Industry certifications are preferred and recognized but not required (cGMP; Lean; Six Sigma).
This is a full-time, on-site position based out of our Fort Myers, FL, Corporate HQ. The pay rate will be based upon experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow company safety policies and participate in Safety Training as required.
- Lead, motivate, train, monitor, and coach assigned team members, including approving and verifying timecard data and applicable time off requests.
- Collaborate cross functionally as needed and with senior leadership to build and stock levels for all SKUs related to Production.
- Collaborate with Production Planner to ensure order process is followed, identify/handle corrections of site assembly, and identify/handle corrections needed for inventory levels.
- Manage, organize, and assemble rehabilitation product orders for customers within 2-4 days, including mechanical/electrical/Precision Comfort (“PC”) assembly and adjustments.
- Utilize ERP system to accurately enter, track, and/or research applicable information.
- Log all serial numbers of serialized sections used on orders as applicable.
- Communicate order status to Logistics and/or any other team member applicable.
- Assist in technical review of all returned materials.
- Inspect products to ensure quality of product meets the required standards.
- Perform inventory management functions and work with senior leaders with ordering raw materials for displaying finished product.
- Guide and advise team members with questions regarding customer returns.
- Return all items to inventory or discard based on technical inspection and final disposition.
- Maintain OSHA Safety guidelines and other regulatory State and Federal standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Communicate and/or send documents, diagrams, and specifications to customers.
- Interview, hire, train, mentor, monitor, evaluate, and provide support and guidance to team members as per company policies and procedures, in a timely manner with applicable documentation
- Stay abreast with product and industry trends.
- Business travel as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must abide by Company safety policies and participate in Safety Training.
- Must have working knowledge of tools, common appliances, devices, and have technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Must have manual dexterity, good physical condition and strength, and have good balance to safely perform all essential duties and responsibilities.
- Must have a willingness to work overtime, arrive early, and/or stay late according to business needs.
- Must be dependable and maintain an excellent attendance record.
- Must have strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Must have recent experience with ERP system proficiencies (such as Epicor, NetSuite, or similar), or must have the ability to learn within a reasonable period of time after position acceptance.
- Must have strong proficiencies with MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Must have excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Must have the ability to collaborate with professional and friendly mannerisms.
- Must have the ability to consistently and effectively present information and respond in a timely manner to high email/message volume, to questions or inquiries from other employees, managers, vendors, and the public if needed.
- Must have the ability to prioritize workload for self and others.
- Must have solid organizational and time management skills and can successfully meet deadlines.
- Must have a valid US Driver’s license in good standing and must maintain throughout employment.
- Must speak, read, and write English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
