*Job Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our medical facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong administrative skills and proficiency in medical office management, including experience with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks. *Responsibilities* - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression. - Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. - Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their visits. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with health information management protocols. - Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries while providing excellent customer service. - Process insurance verifications and assist patients with billing questions. - Utilize eClinicalWorks for data entry, appointment scheduling, and patient management tasks. - Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized medical records. - Assist in managing the flow of patients within the office to optimize efficiency. *Qualifications* - Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. - Familiarity with medical office management practices and health information management principles. - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks is highly desirable. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, including 10 key typing proficiency. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure. - A background in dental office operations is a plus but not required. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is advantageous. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
