This role requires strong administrative skills and proficiency in medical office management, including experience with electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks. *Responsibilities* - Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive first impression. - Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. - Schedule appointments and follow up with patients regarding their visits. - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with health information management protocols. - Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries while providing excellent customer service. - Process insurance verifications and assist patients with billing questions. - Utilize eClinicalWorks for data entry, appointment scheduling, and patient management tasks. - Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized medical records. - Assist in managing the flow of patients within the office to optimize efficiency. *Qualifications* - Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. - Familiarity with medical office management practices and health information management principles. - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks is highly desirable. - Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, including 10 key typing proficiency. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure. - A background in dental office operations is a plus but not required. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is advantageous.
