SUMMARY
The Security Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing organizational and administrative support to the Security Department team. The Security Administrative Assistant will interact daily with Security Department Management, Executives, Resort Guests, and other Team Members in person, by phone, and by email, assisting them with their administrative needs. Must be a results-oriented, hands-on professional who can deal effectively and interact well with customers and team members. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts diplomatically and tactfully.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Provide administrative support to the Security Director and Managers including typing, faxing, photocopying, answering multiple phone lines, assisting visitors and resolving a range of administrative tasks, etc.
· Assist with the coordination of guest issues and concerns as they relate to injuries or claims.
· Ability to assist with the Unifocus and time keeping.
· Ability to assist with Lost & Found data entry and inquiries.
· Assists with Security report writing process (iTrack) by scanning documents into the iTrack system.
· Supports team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication.
· Exhibits polite and professional attitude in preparing communications such as memos, e-mail’s, invoices, reports and other correspondence.
· Provides guest assistance as necessary.
· Maintains filing system.
· Attends departmental meeting as necessary.
· Other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
· Ability to use a personal computer in order to complete reports, correspondence, data entry etc. This includes a working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, AS400, and Microsoft Office Programs.
· Writing: to include spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and writing are essential.
· Ability to follow up and follow through on a variety of assigned tasks or instructions furnished in written, oral form. Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills are a must.
· Contributes to a positive work environment, fosters collaboration and provides a tangible contribution.
· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES
· Must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Nevada Gaming Work Board, Alcohol Awareness Card (TAM) and Nevada Driver License throughout employment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· This position requires graduation from high school or equivalent education and two (2) years of clerical and administrative support experience, which included experience in one or more of the following areas: maintaining records and files; preparing a variety of materials using a personal computer or word processor; assisting customers in completing forms and applications; and/or performing secretarial duties in support of professional staff, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Team member must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with guests, management, team members and others.
· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and move through all areas of the casino, speak and hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel. May reach with hands and arms above shoulder level, bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull.
· Team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
