Mess Waffles in College Station, TX is looking to hire one assistant manager to join our 20 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, hard-working, dependable, ambitious, engaged, experienced in customer-service and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
- Work the line and lead by example
- Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
- Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
- Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining lobby
- Maintain very high levels of consistency and quality of food
- Coming in with a positive attitude
- Must be able to work most weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
- Ensure appropriate inventory and place weekly orders to maintain supply
- Closing the register
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy in expediting orders to tables and to-go orders
We are a breakfast, lunch, & brunch restaurant. Early shifts start at 7am and we close at 3pm on weekdays/4pm on weekends
