Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of commercial roofs to identify damages, leaks, or potential issues.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and installations of various roofing materials such as TPO, built-up roofing, single-ply roofing, metal roofing, and modified bitumen roofing systems.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights and using power tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of roofing projects within budget and according to specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, hours worked, and project progress.
- Communicate with clients to address their roofing needs, provide recommendations, and answer any questions or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to commercial roofing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Roofer or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in commercial roofing.
- Extensive knowledge of various roofing materials, installation techniques, and repair methods.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings related to roofing projects.
- Proficiency in using roofing tools and equipment, including but not limited to roofing hammers, nail guns, ladders, and safety harnesses.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to diagnose roofing issues and implement effective solutions.
- Physical stamina and strength to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to job sites as required.
Salary : $50 - $60
