- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, conducting thorough investigations to resolve issues.
- Maintain organized records of billing transactions and patient accounts within the medical office system.
- Collaborate with the medical collection team to ensure timely payments from insurance companies and patients.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices to ensure compliance.
Experience
- Proven experience in medical billing and coding is preferred, with familiarity in ICD-10 and DRG systems.
