Title: Residential Clinical Intake Coordinator
Job Type: Full-Time - 40 hours/week, Exempt
Location: In-Person | 2625 N Weil St. - Milwaukee, WI
Reports to: Residential Clinical Manager
Department: Residential
Shift: 1st
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.(subject to change based on program/departmental needs); on-call back-up and rotating late-night schedule

General Purpose
Creates a welcoming environment and intake process for all admitting women and children into the residential program. Helps clients complete all required assessments, documentation, and orientation. Supports all activities related to client admission and retention, including carrying a caseload, facilitating recovery groups, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on client care that is gender-specific, strengths based, and trauma informed.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Welcomes all new residential clients and their children, completes all required admission paperwork with them, provides tours/introductions, and ensures they feel welcome and settled in.
- Completes all intake requirements, answers questions, and provides a warm hand-off to the next person for continuation of onboarding.
- Serves as the primary therapist for up to 4 residential clients
- Conducts assessments, including ASAM and SAFE-T for assigned clients.
- Provides individual, group, and crisis counseling.
- Performs all required record keeping and paperwork related to intake, therapy, treatment planning, billing, and coding, and grant documentation.
- Implements onboarding and other service procedures and practices that are client centered, trauma-informed, and prioritize client experience and engagement.
- Assists with/manages on-site crisis intervention
- Participates in weekly room searches.
- Coordinates services for residential grants including enrollment.
- Coordinates care with assigned clients’ care teams for treatment, safety, and discharge planning.
- Meets expectations for both quantity (productivity) and quality (evidence-based, best practices) for working with clients.
- Participates in therapist on-call rotation for after-hours program support.
- Participates in a rotating late-night schedule.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Required Work Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in an occupational or internship capacity
- Required License/Certification:
- SAC-IT
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred Education
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
- Preferred Work Experience
- 3 or more years of experience in an occupational or internship capacity
- Preferred License/Certification
- LPC-IT or APSW eligible status preferred
- Driver’s license, safe driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Must provide proof of vaccination for MMR, Varicella, and annual flu shot.
- Adherence to a tobacco/smoke/vape-free work environment.
- May be required to work periodic evenings and weekends
- Occasionally work nights and/or weekends
- Tolerate occasional hot or cold days.
- Sit or stand for extended periods of time including alternating sitting or standing at will.
- Lift and up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and 40 pounds on occasion.
- Ascend and descend stairs using feet and legs.
- Bend, stoop, twist, squat, and kneel to perform essential functions.
- Reach overhead, and at or below shoulder level.
- Read and enter text or data into a computer or other system.
- Seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise work with hands.

- See clearly at approximately 20 inches or less including use of computers or tablet.
- Visually identify clients and others for reasons including, but not limited to security, presence in the building, and medication dispensing.
