Summary :
Meta is seeking a full-time position of Procurement Operations Specialist in our Finance operations center in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the buying process, identifying pain points, and implementing strategic solutions to scale operations. This position requires proven problem-solving skills, cross functional collaboration skills, business acumen, critical thinking and outstanding customer service.

Procurement Operations Specialist Responsibilities :
Understand the full Source to Pay cycle (Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, AP) to quickly identify bottlenecks, problems, and drive issues to resolution.
Research, analyze, coordinate, and respond to incoming inquiries regarding status of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the buying process.
Provide clear, concise, step-by-step instructions to internal stakeholders and external suppliers on using procurement tools and interacting with processing teams.
Analyze data to identify stakeholder pain-points, exceptions, feedback, and opportunities for improvement in existing processes.
Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
Assist in the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit.
Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and goals, and build relationships to support the organization's objectives.
Collaborate with Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Master Team (SMT), Enterprise Products (EP) teams, and other stakeholders on :
Requirements gathering for process and system improvements
Solutioning and design of new processes and systems
Change management planning and implementation
Manage escalations from stakeholders, including investigating and resolving issues, and communicating resolutions to stakeholders.
Collaborate with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams to enable new processes, ensure good customer service, and provide training and guidance on procurement policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain metrics and reports to track the performance of the S2P process and identify areas for improvement.

5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance
Experience with understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay process
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
Proven communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.

Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Experience with successfully navigating a high - pressure environment and ambiguity

BA / BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
Experience with ERP system, preferably Oracle.
Experience with Procurement system / software.
