Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the engineering and design teams to define and develop content in bespoke VR engine, Unity, Unreal, and other graphic engines.
- Optimize content through enhancing performance and instructing the artists and designers on asset creation, modeling and texturing best practices.
- Work closely with engineers to implement interactive objects and systems.
- Quickly solve issues with your cross-functional peers.
- Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Responsible for maintaining assets from creation to shipping.
- Ability to collaborate and iterate based on the team's needs.
- Develop DCC tools and plug-ins.
- Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety technical and artistic tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years experience with Maya Python/PyMEL, C API, PySide/PyQt.
- 3 years of experience in game development or film as a Technical Artist.
- Experience collaborating on multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience communicating across team members including engineers and artists.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and asset creation packages like Maya, Houdini, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, ZBrush, Knald, Marmoset, Photoshop, etc.
- Experience with game optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
