Assistant Quality Manager
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understanding with quality management systems (QMS) according to NADCAP, AS9100, and ISO 9001 standards within an Aerospace Heat facility.
- Understanding of internal, supplier, and prime audits
- Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Understanding Contract Review and process selection to meet order requirements.
- Editing quality procedures and work instructions as needed.
- Test production runs to assure quality and consistency is maintained.
- Testing of individual customers to assure that their quality requirements have been met.
- Purchasing processing material that have direct effect on the quality of the product.
- Monitoring suppliers to assure that they maintain their quality standards.
- Respond to customer concerns such as product quality, delivery, damage and billing issues.
- Monitoring of customer accounts and reporting when negative trends occur.
- Maintain the pricing structure for the department and make increases when directed.
- Invoicing of all coating department shipments
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic computer, visual shop, ups, etc.
- Communication, verbal, phone, computers, etc.
- Hand & power tools, Rockwell testing.
- Ability to read and speak the English language.
- Ability to work well with others.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to manually lift, push or pull a maximum of 40 pounds.
- Ability to sit or stand a minimum of 2 hours at one time.
- Ability to get in and out of a standard Fork Lift.
- Ability to climb stairs and walk a maximum of ½ mile at one time.
Work Environment:
- The position is in a manufacturing environment and involves the ability to sit, stand, walk and lift for long periods of time throughout the day.
