Learning Designer (Consultant / Contract)

The Learning Designer will assist faculty in designing and developing asynchronous accelerated online undergraduate courses for the BC Undergraduate Summer Session. The position involves supporting faculty in creating learner-centered, engaging, and meaningful digital learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with faculty to design and develop 6-week asynchronous online courses.
- Provide guidance on digital learning strategies, assessment methods, and engagement techniques.
- Support content development and curation in Canvas LMS and other instructional technologies.
- Consult with faculty on best practices for online course design and delivery.
- Work with project managers and instructional media producers to enhance course quality.
