As a Line Cook, you will play a pivotal role in executing culinary excellence and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. With your culinary expertise, attention to detail, and passion for gastronomy, you will contribute to the creation of high-quality dishes that reflect our commitment to culinary innovation and excellence.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute dishes in accordance with established recipes, presentation standards, and chef instructions, consistently delivering plates of exceptional quality and visual appeal.
  • Skillfully handle and cook a diverse range of ingredients, including vegetables, proteins, sauces, and garnishes, ensuring a harmonious balance of flavors and textures.
  • Uphold cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards in the kitchen, meticulously managing ingredient handling, storage, and equipment cleanliness.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to synchronize and time food preparation for seamless service during peak periods, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of orders.
  • Adhere rigorously to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and control food costs, while maintaining uniform and consistent plate presentations.
  • Monitor and preserve the quality and freshness of ingredients, promptly addressing any concerns or issues to uphold the highest culinary standards.
  • Strictly adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper handling and storage of perishable items, temperature control, and maintenance of a clean and safe work environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, techniques, and culinary advancements, actively seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and refine skills.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures and kitchen guidelines to ensure uniformity and excellence in food preparation.
  • Exhibit a strong, positive, and upbeat demeanor, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to high standards with unparalleled attention to detail.
  • Possess a genuine passion for food, beverage, and hospitality, embodying enthusiasm and dedication to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality establishment preferred.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent training from a recognized culinary institute preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.

 

Working Conditions/Environment 

  • The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
  • Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently. 
  • The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
