Methodist Mansfield Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking for Respiratory Therapist to join our amazing team. This position is nights PRN.
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for helping monitor patient progress and administer breathing treatments based on the instructions provided by our team of Physicians. Experience is needed in working as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute hospital or ASC setting.
The Respiratory Therapist will assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Restores patient's pulmonary function; alleviates pain; supports life by planning and administering medically prescribed Respiratory Therapy.
Minimum Requirements
- Associates Degree of Applied Science.
- Certification: Current Certification or Registration by the state of Texas (CRT or RRT), Current and active CPR certification.
- 2 years Experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS and PALS required.
