MRC Cornerstone is seeking Resident Care Assistants to work in our Memory Support Unit from 6:00am-2:00pm.
Resident Care Assistants administer the care of residents under the supervision of licensed staff and assists professional nursing staff by performing routine tasks in the care of residents, helping them adapt to changes that may occur due to illness and normal processes of aging. Uses one-on-one and group relationships to facilitate participation in activities, support interest, develop and sustain capacities and adaptive skills of residents. Leads and coordinates various types of activities and programs for the residents. Assists in the development and implementation of care plans.

Education/Certification/Licensure
- High school graduate or equivalent is desired.
- Training and Experience: Two years of resident care experience, preferably as a hospital or long-term care nursing assistant.
- Knowledge/ability to learn computer skills
- Must have a working knowledge of basic patient care procedures.
