What are the responsibilities and job description for the LTS Program Assistant Foundations Integrated position at Methuen Public Schools?
Position Purpose- Supporting students with toileting and feeding needs; supporting instruction and implementing programs/lesson plans created by the Special Education Teacher; escorting students to and from pick up/drop off locations during arrival and dismissal; supporting and implementing behavior plans as directed by BCBA and/or classroom teacher.Qualifications- High school diploma required with associates degree or higher preferred- Experience working with children/students- Experience assisting in program implementation- Ability to work with professional staff- Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.Additional Duties: - Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings- Needs to assist with a behavior plan implementation- Provide academic support as needed- May need to support feeding and toileting need- Monitoring for attention, work completion and social navigation-Perform duties as assigned by school administration- Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher
