Position Number 280 Branch Administrative Services Division Purchasing/Contracts Department Central Stores Job Description
Supervises Central Stores operation including area-wide responsibility for the mail system, duplicating services, delivery, receiving, and inventory control.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
  • Supervises, schedules and monitor the performance of Central Stores staff.
  • Supervises the mail system.
  • Supervises duplicating services.
  • Completes and monitors department budget.
  • Coordinates the distribution and disposition of furniture and equipment.
  • Coordinates the delivery and installation of new furniture by vendors.
  • Purchases and monitors use of printed materials and copier supplies.
  • Supervises duplication and delivery of Board of Governors monthly meeting minutes.
  • Consistently and dependably attends work, activities, and functions as scheduled or assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge in purchasing techniques.
  • Skill in supervising and training staff.
  • Skill in maintaining organized files and accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to use computer programs in purchasing and inventory areas.
  • Ability to write and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to read documents.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Ability to effectively work and interact with various cultures and ethnicities.

Required Qualification
Associate’s Degree or equivalent in business or related field plus three (3) years related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be physically able to bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Salary/Hourly Rate $21.42
