What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machine Operator position at Metyx USA, Inc?
The CNC Operator is to effectively and efficiently prepare, produce and maintain the required production that is assigned to the machine. This position will also be operating other machines such as Non- Woven and Warping. Work schedule is 4 X 10, Monday- Thursday 6am to 4 pm. Starting pay $18/hr.
- Complete transfer transactions for work orders/ purchase order material
- Manage inventory supply for processing and finished products
- Complete and record all quality data
- Maintain and initiate tooling orders
- Prepare all documents for inventory
During Shift Operations:
- Ensure correct tooling setup and alignments
- CNC Router Machine
- Precision Machine/Tooling Setup (Daily)
- Basic Equipment PM
- Drilling, milling, trimming.
- Properly install program into machines and adjust accordingly
- CNC Router knowledge
- Maintain Tooling/Equipment condition
- Troubleshoot/Resolve setup/ product quality issues.
- Properly setup the machines and adjust accordingly
- Perform daily checks and maintenance on the machine
- Understand machine alarms and failures and solve easy ones
- Communicate, with the external service, machines alarms and failures to solve them
- Perform machines preventive maintenance (TPM)
Quality
- Follow all process controls and provide documentation
- Conduct parts cleaning
- Examine all parts dimensions for complete accuracy
- Inspect for all ensure compliance of all products characteristics
- Identify abnormalities and find solution
- pack parts and apply labels to boxes, prepare pallets for shipment
Inventory
- Ensure all material is tracked and accounted for through all process
- Conduct daily/ weekly/ monthly cleaning schedules of all equipment
- Ensure inventories are maintained within allow targets and production quantity requirements

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

- Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Establish and maintain effective working relationship with fellow employees and customers
