Metzgers is looking for an Offset Press operator that enjoys helping our customers with their high-quality printed products such as books, magazines, calendars, and catalogs.

- Preparing the press for printing by loading plates and paper and assuring ink settings are correct and match specifications
- Reading and understanding work orders
- Operating the press and monitoring the print process
- Matching color to the proofs
- Checking proofs/samples and continually checking the quality of printed materials to ensure customer specifications are met
- Keeping the presses in good working order
- Preforming maintenance on presses
- Removing, stacking, and packing printed material in various stages of completion on pallets as it accumulates on machine
- Troubleshooting print and equipment issues
- High school diploma
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of industry experience
- Offset print experience is strongly preferred
- Able to comprehend and apply basic mathematical principles and use a calculator and technology
- Good attendance is required.
