Qualifications
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work in a very collaborative team environment
- Detail oriented and organized
- Able to meet hard deadlines
- Experience working with databases and managing large data sets
- Experience with filing standardized reports with federal and state keeping agencies (RRC/NMOCD)
- Minimum High school Diploma/GED with related work experience
- 2 years in Oil & Gas Production Accounting or Data Analyst related work
- MS EXCEL and MSWORD skills required
- Interact with agencies in a professional and influential manner, responding to their requests
- Manage all regulatory and permitting activities associated with operations of wells
- File reports and submits payments to federal and state agencies
- Work independently and in groups with guidance in complex situations
- Knowledge to prepare and submit permits, injection, saltwater disposal, co-mingling, applications, etc. for Texas and New Mexico
- Read and understand plats and drilling report to submit paperwork
- Prepare ½ mile and ¼ mile plats for applications
- Have drilling tech experience, a plus
- Knowledge to read and understand a well bore schematic, a plus
- Able to multitask
- Work closely & build rapport with engineers, field geologist, landmen & accounting personnel
