As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a Class A commercial motor vehicle to transport goods within local, regional, and potentially long-haul routes. While driving is a significant part of the role, this is a physically demanding position that requires significant manual labor in addition to operating the vehicle. The CDL-A Driver will adhere to all applicable federal and state regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
What you need to be considered:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record.
- Experience with [Specific types of trailers, e.g., dry van, refrigerated, flatbed] preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and hours-of-service regulations.
- Physically fit: able to lift heavy loads, climb in/out of the truck, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.
