- Teach engaging, inquiry-based French classes for grades 9-12.
- Develop and implement interdisciplinary curriculum that connects language learning to real-world applications.
- Serve as a mentor and advisor, guiding students academically and supporting their social-emotional growth.
- Incorporate technology, project-based learning, and differentiated strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Build a classroom culture that fosters curiosity, respect, and a love of learning.
- Actively participate in school events and auxiliary programs, strengthening community connections.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Native or near-native fluency in French and a BA/BS in French Education or a related field.
- Bring experience teaching at the high school level, preferably in independent schools.
- Possess expertise in AP French Language and Culture or the DELF program (preferred).
- Be skilled in utilizing ACTFL World Readiness Standards, Project-Based Learning, and Comprehensible Input strategies.
- Be passionate about cultural exploration and incorporate diverse perspectives into the classroom.
- Integrate technology seamlessly into teaching to enhance the learning experience.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to ensure student success.
- Value feedback, demonstrate adaptability, and approach challenges with enthusiasm.
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
