SUMMARY: Supervises work activities of cleaning associates to ensure clean, orderly and attractive areas in keeping with company standards and policies.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assigns associates cleaning duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards in both public and back of the house areas.
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of the proper usage of all housekeeping chemicals and procedures.
- Utilizes a hands-on approach with strong leadership skills to successfully train and motivate staff.
- Follows and enforces all company policies, procedures and safety regulations.
- Recognizes and recommends opportunities for process improvements in housekeeping practices.
- Experienced in conflict resolution and the willingness to assist in solving work related problems.
- Completes administrative requirements such as but not limited to: issuance of daily assignments, inputting of time and attendance, providing positive, corrective counselling and processing materials requests.
- Follows GuestPath Universal Service Standards, Operational Service Standards, and SERVE expectations at all times.
- Performs duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
- Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
