The Ricotta Mix Operator is responsible for preparing the mix in accordance with the specific formula for the day. The product is to be made in a high-quality and consistent fashion in a clean environment per USDA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Set up and sanitize equipment
- Gather materials and paperwork for daily production
- Prepare mix as specified by formula for the day
- Record essential information pertaining to operations as according to guidelines
- Keep work area neat, clean, and organized
- Complete any other duties as assigned
- All production is to be executed in a safe, quality manner in compliance with SQF and GMP requirements.
Qualifications
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Show proper ability to work independently and as a group
- Computer knowledge a plus
- Some mechanical aptitude
- Great attention to detail
This work may be strenuous and repetitive. Must demonstrate the strength and aerobic capacity for the work, including the ability to kneel, crouch, stand, stoop, walk, push, pull and grasp.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
