What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Michael Development?
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with on-call rotation (approx. every 4 weeks). You must have your own tools.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion including but not limited to plumbing, appliances, heating and A/C repairs, lock changes, and minor electrical repairs
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Perform turnaround maintenance
- Mowing in summer and shoveling/salting in winter as needed
- Additional responsibilities as directed
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of previous maintenance experience required
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well as a team
- Must pass background check
