Day-to-day Activities Include
Business Transactional Law and Business Litigation
- Providing advisory services associated with entity selection and structuring, tax matters, employment matters, and client requirements.
- Assisting clients with acquisitions and/or sales of businesses and/or assets as well as succession planning.
- Securing and maintaining regulatory approvals as well as ensuring compliance.
- Preparing and negotiating legal documents that arise from business transactions, inclusive of the following:
- Employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, service agreements, and joint venture agreements; and
- Business-related contracts such as buy/sell agreements, stockholder agreements, and management agreements.
- Assisting clients with the negotiation, structuring, vetting, and facilitation of real estate transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial and residential leases.
- J.D. degree from accredited law school
- At least three (3) years of legal experience providing business, estate planning, and asset protection services
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- CPA or LL.M. in taxation or relevant experience
